The intelligentUSB (iPC) is a 64GB ultra-fast (150M/s) USB drive wich contains a Virtual System installed. Now you can take your applications with you in a plug-'n'-play Workspace on any USB storage device and work freely on any PC. All system applications and softwares are installed on the Virtual iPC system layer, while all users need to do is to log in a control client and click&run. You just need to manipulate on the iPC to achieve the same experience as working on a normal computer. It also comes with 64G local storage, plus 1T cloud storage, pictured above.
Traditional USB can only store files, while iPC could also install any games, softwares, and even system. By connecting your iPC to any PC (desktop or laptop) via usb port, you can use all installed softwares, games, files, and even an entire Windows system, on that PC! Seamlessly run in that local PC's desktop! Running two PCs on one computer at the same time, both hardwares and softwares!
Traditional USB drives are always security risks, because there is no defence for your files! While iPC boasts strong security control! iPC keeps startup files and disk encryption key in the server part, hackers can't enter iPC unless they type in correct password. Also, it could provid control of every user and every file, such as print prohibition, clipboard prohibition, copy prohibition, running prohibition, account expiry date,IP whitelist,IP blacklist...etc.In case the device is lost, the administrator can track the IP address of the device, thereby tracking device.
Traditional USB drives only support plug-in use, while iPC can be accessed via internet! Plug in your home computer, and login via account name and password from internet. It's the real iPC which can be taken with you or access via internet.

Five selling points of iPC:
1. Unlimited YouApp from iPC, plug-n-use: like YouTube, you can use other people's app and games. And that's unlimited. Because all apps and games are installed to the server part, we let servers exchange software and apps, to let every user can use all shared apps. Just type the function you want in search bar, like "edit PDF" or "SciLab" or "Warcraft", then these apps and games will appear for you to use. Yes, no install, no purchase, just search and click to run on your miniServer!
2. Unlimited Security Control: Traditional USB stores all system and files on local drive. When the drive is lost, everything is stolen. While iPC keeps system startup files and disk encryption key in the server part, hackers can't enter the system unless they type in correct password. Also, it could provid control of every user and every file, such as print prohibition, clipboard prohibition, copy prohibition, running prohibition, account expiry date,IP whitelist,IP blacklist...etc.In case the device is lost, the administrator can track the IP address of the device, thereby tracking device.
3. Portable Software--Game and App on the Go: any PC games or softwares can be installed on the iPC. Then all your devices can use it by plug in or login via Internet. Buy a software, always available, and available to everyone in your company or family. Plug in and Play!
4. Portable Protection--Antivirus on the Go: Any PC connected to iPC could be protected by the Antivirus installed on miniServer (Cloud PC Antivirus 5 default). Plug in and Scan! 5. Portable System--WinCE on the Go: Plug in iPC to the local computer, and then press the power button, then your computer will enter the system on iPC, the preinstalled Windows CE. You can install your own system too. Windows system on the Go! Plug in and Use!
I'm not really too 'up' with computers but I have found this little gadget easy to use and one thing that I really like about it is that it is password secured. I am now able to do things for work at home, load them on to this and transfer to the PC at work. Magic!
I bought one of these, and can confirm that it DOES work with Ubunto.
Excellant product - never had a problem.
Transform a flash drive into a virtual PC! many standard Windows applications can now be made portable for use on any PC
This tiny thing fixed my broken computer.
I am a freelance web designer, I frequently move from site to site and rely on my clients to give me the best tools for my job. Unfortuantely this isn't always the case. So this ipc helps me quite a lot.
So if you want to be able to securely carry your office life on a stick to access anywhere, then ipc allows you to do it.
From durability to functionality it is ahead on all counts. Also find the included youapp software facilities and security protection excellent.
iPC - Great technology. This is an excellent device and I love the ipc technology built in. Before I purchased I thought the first thing I would do is remove all the programs to maximize storage room. But you soon get to realise how incredibly useful ipc can be. ipc technology lets you install any programs directly onto the USB memory device. They then run from the memory device without needing installation onto a PC. I now carry my own portable version of Firefox, setup the way I want it, along with all my own 'favourites'. I also installed Roboform2go so I've got all my passwords as well. I Added 'ThinkFree' Office to give me MS Office compatibility where ever I may be. No more taking presentation disks to a meeting only to find the PC you've been given only has 'Office 95', or worse - no MS Office at all. It came with Clam Anti Virus scan pre-installed which automatically protects the USB device. Plugging the device into a virus infected PC in a cyber cafe, should at least give your files a fighting chance. Lastly I added a file shredding / PC cleaning program, a data recovery program, a PDF reader, WinRar for 'packing/unpacking' files, an IMAP e-mail program, a media player, a couple of MP3 albums and a game. With all the above items installed, I still have 53.12GB left for everyday storage.
I’m happy because I can install my softwares onto this ipc. However I didn't find those softwares bundled on ipc all that useful. The Mcafee Virus Scan is free but did not support updates unless you paid for a subscription. Likewise the Form Shield is not all that useful by itself, as most of the functions are limited to the paid option, the one I was most interested was the ability to setup disposable email addresses. Also, the Cruzer Sync app asked to be updated but when I did it installed a seemingly 3rd party sync and backup app, although it did apparently offer 2gb online space that you could use for free.
